These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotations, orders and work carried out by SG Fabrication and Engineering Private Limited. Please read them before placing an order.

These terms govern your use of this website and form the basis on which we quote for and carry out work, unless we sign a separate written contract with you for a particular project. Where a signed contract exists, that contract takes precedence.

The content on this site is published for general information about our capabilities. Specifications, capacities and dimensions shown are indicative and are confirmed only in a written quotation for your specific application.
You may not copy, republish or use our content, drawings or photographs for commercial purposes without our written permission.

A quotation is an invitation to place an order and is not a binding contract until we accept your order in writing. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, and remain subject to material prices and availability at the time of acceptance.
Prices are quoted exclusive of taxes and duties unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are those set out in the quotation or the accepted order.

Where we design against information you supply, including span, capacity, lifting height, duty cycle, building condition and existing runway details, you remain responsible for the accuracy of that information.
If site conditions differ from the information supplied, the resulting variation in scope, cost or programme is chargeable. We recommend a site survey before order in every case, and we carry these out free of charge anywhere in Pakistan.

Delivery and completion dates are estimates given in good faith and depend on order confirmation, drawing approval, material availability and site readiness.
You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the site, a clear working area, and any permits, power supply or lifting assistance agreed in the quotation. Delays caused by site conditions or access may affect the programme and the price.

Where the scope includes lifting equipment, we carry out load testing at commissioning and issue the test record with the handover documents.
Once equipment is handed over, responsibility for periodic examination, maintenance and record keeping under the applicable Pakistani factory and occupational safety legislation rests with the operator. We can carry this out for you under a separate maintenance agreement.

We warrant our fabrication and workmanship against defects for the period stated in the quotation, from the date of commissioning. Bought in components carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, overloading, operation outside the specified duty class, unauthorised modification, or damage from lack of maintenance.
Our obligation under warranty is to repair or replace the defective part.

Designs, calculations and drawings that we prepare remain our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing. They are supplied for the operation and maintenance of the equipment we provide, and may not be used to have equipment manufactured by a third party.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our liability arising from an order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for loss of production, loss of profit or other indirect or consequential loss.

These terms and any order accepted under them are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute.
We will always try to resolve a problem by discussion before it reaches that point.
